Elections Information

Term of Office

The last election for the ACC Board of Directors (BoD) was held in March 2026. The term of office will run from April 2026 until Homecoming 2028, and thereafter for two (2) year terms from Homecoming 2028 ending Homecoming 2030, and every future even year.

Per the ACC Bylaws, the next ACC elections will be held between August 1 and September 1, 2028.

Are You Interested in Serving on the Board?

Those interested in filling any existing or future vacancies on the BoD may file the Elections Filing Form (located at this attached form) and email their interest to: info[@]atlantacitadelclub.org and title the email "ACC Board Interest”. Appointments are made on a quarterly basis.

Board Eligibility

To be eligible to serve as a Board candidate, one must understand and meet the following criteria:

a) Be a graduate of The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.

b) Be a fully-paid Life Member OR Annual Member of The Citadel Alumni Association.

c) Pay, at the time of his/her taking office, a one-time payment of $110 to the Treasurer. These fees cover two years of dues ($40 per year for two terms); admin fees; and the manufacture, shipping, and handeling of a Board Member nametag and lapel pin. 

d) Please select to certify that you understand, have read completely, and will comply with the ACC Bylaws.

e) Agree to attend at least half of the Board meetings and half the Club meetings per year during their term. Per the 2026 Bylaws, Article IV, Section G: "Failure to attend two consecutive or more than fifty percent of a calendar year’s Board meetings may be deemed an intention to resign, unless these absences are excused by the Executive Committee at least seven days prior to a meeting. Special Meeting absences do not need to be excused."
